Baahubali 2: The Conclusion Will Release In 6500 Screens- Maximum For Any Indian Movie

Baahubali 2 is breaking records much before its release date of April 28. The sequel to the 2015 film Baahubali: The Beginning will release in 6500 screens across India, which is the maximum for any Indian film ever. Trade expert Ramesh Bala announced the news a while ago.

The trailer of the movie has been received with a thunderous applause from the audience with it touching 100 million views in less than a week’s time. Now that's a record which not many movies can boast of.

More than 2 years in the making with an ocean of manpower in both production and post-production, Baahubali 2 is India’s most anticipated film followed by 2.0 starring Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar. The anticipation is doubled by the fact that the prequel ended on a high note with one of the greatest cliff-hangers of all time.

Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nasser and Sudeep, the film has been directed by SS Rajamouli and Karan Johar is presenting the film across the world.

Talking about the number of screens, prior to Baahubali 2, Aamir Khan's Dangal held the record of the maximum release with almost 5300 screens across India. With so many screens showing Dangal, it helped the movie become India's highest grossing film within a couple of weeks.

Now that Baahubali 2 is releasing in a much larger number of screens, will it be able to beat all past box-office records and come out as the highest grossing Indian movie ever? Let us know your views below.
